This year, 2004, she will be cruising the Greek Peloponnese coast and off-lying islands. Ian and Bette Blayney are both experienced sailors with 30 years' cruising behind them, the last twelve based in the Mediterranean. As guests, you will benefit from their vast local knowledge. You can spend your time either leisurely cruising, taking advantage of the swimming and snorkelling in the warm blue waters, or just lazing away in some secluded anchorage; soaking up the Mediterranean sun. Cruises are tailored to your individual choice! No sailing experience is necessary, tuition being readily available in all aspects of sailing. Your crewing participation can be as much or as little as you desire. The cost of Charter is between £400 and £600 per person per week (minimum four persons) or from £1,600 to £2,400.00 per week for the yacht (see booking form enclosed.) This will include breakfast and lunch and all the yacht's facilities. Whilst there is a wide variety of excellent Tavernas ashore, dinner on board can be supplied at cost. The cost of Charter does not include flights or transfers. To join Spirit of Vortigern, fly to Athens Airport where you can be met and welcomed by your hosts, then taken on one of the frequent high-speed ferries [40 minutes] to the Island of Aegina. It would be hard to find a more relaxed and informal holiday in the Mediterranean. We look forward to welcoming you aboard.
